Buildroot for AVR32 AP7 family microprocessors

U-Boot binaries download

Below you will find U-Boot binaries matching each Atmel board available.

If you have a JTAGICE mkII or AVRONE! you can download the "U-Boot image" for your board. If you do not have a JTAG programmer you can use the "flash-upgrade image" to upgrade your bootloader.

If your board has an old U-Boot bootloader (i.e. version 1.1.4 or older), you might have to use the "flash-upgrade image (oldmagic)". It is safe to try out both flash upgraders, they are not destructive before loading successfully. The list below describes which flash upgrader to use depending on the feedback from the bootloader:

  • "Unsupported Architecture 0x10"; use "flash-upgrade image".
  • "Unsupported Architecture 0x11"; use "flash-upgrade image (oldmagic)".

See the FlashUpgradeUsage page on avr32linux.org for how to use the flash upgrade tool.
